Show Notes
For this episode of “Inside Contemporary Dance”, I sat down to chat with my dear friend Nami Miwa. Nami is from Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Walnut Hill School For The Arts as a dance major with honors. She later attended Fordham University for their BFA program with The Ailey School in New York, NY. In 2014, she moved to Frankfurt to attend Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst under the direction of Dieter Heitkamp. Upon graduation, she worked as a freelancer and worked with Hessisches Staatsballett, Frankfurt Oper, and Oper Wiesbaden. In 2019 Nami started working for Wee Dance Company in Goerlitz, Germany. Currently, she works as a company manager and production manager based in Tokyo, Japan.
